The Wedding Party
Our bridal party consists of 1 Maid of Honor, 8 Bridesmaids, 2 Junior Bridesmaids, 2 Flower Girls, 2 Best Men, 6 Groomsmen, and 1 Ring Bearer. It's a big one, but we both have very large families and couldn't imagine leaving any one of these people out!
Bridesmaids/Maid of Honor
The bridesmaids and Maid of Honor will wear various styles from J.Crew's wedding collection. The dresses will be in Cypress green colored cotton cady fabric, which is cotton but with a subtle sheen. I'm going to have the girls chose between one of the following styles: Lydia, Erica, Alexa, Serena, Madeline, or Sydney, each of which is knee length. I want the girls to feel comfortable and look good in their dresses so that is why I'm having them pick their own styles.
I want the girls to wear gold shoes in any style they want and possibly gold statement jewelry (necklaces/bracelets/or earrings).
Junior Bridesmaids
I just purchased these adorable dresses from crewcuts - the Jcrew children's line. I bought both styles and will have my girls try them on to see which works best!! The first dress (on left) is the girls Rosalie dress in Dusty Rose. The dress is cotton with cupcake skirt shape. The second dress (on right) is the girls Tulle Time dress in Warm Pebble This dress is cotton and features a silk belt and a tulle overlay with layers of tulle at the neck. I love them and can't wait to see them on the girls!
Flower Girls
I think we have decided to go with a flower girl dress from the Us Angles line! The style number is 101, in ivory (as pictured) with ivory and pink flower detail around the waist. The dress is a spaghetti strap ballerina dress with a tea length double layer tulle skirt. I just have to try the dress on the girls and order! So excited!
Groomsmen
I want to men to wear a stone colored tux or suit with green accents (Although we may do a black tux). This has not been definitely decided yet but is the direction I am currently going. I'm thinking of something similar color to the picture on the left.
This is the suit and tie combination we decided to go with for the groomsmen - it's from Men's Warehouse and I'm really happy with it!
I just found these ties online that I love and would like to purchase for the guys as part of their groomsmen gift! The color seems absolutely perfect and will go fabulously with the girls' dresses! I'm still looking around but so far it's the best I've seen!
