DIY

This wedding as truly been a labor of love. Throughout the planning, I wan not able to find anything in the way of paper products that I loved (well, that was not astronomically priced!) so I just decided to DIY all my paper products! I purchased the supplies from various stores and sites - namely Michael's, A.C. Moore, and cardsandpockets.com - So below are images of my DIY projects!

Programs

I designed the programs and got them printed on a linen cardstock at a local Sir Speedy. I also bought green ribbon to tie tiny bows at the top. Needless to say, this process was a lot more difficult than I imagined!! Simply punching holes was extremely time consuming and I swear I have mild bruises on my palms from all the punching! I purchased a specialty 'lace' Martha Stewart hole puncher to add detail to the bottom of the programs, however, that was EXTREMELY difficult and I was only able to get about 50 done before the puncher went dull on me. I was not going to purchase another one for $20 more, so I decided to just leave the rest plain on the bottom. So the end result is below. It is 3 pages; first being the order of ceremony, second being wedding party, and last being remembrance and thank-you's. I am very happy with how they turned out!

Escort Cards

I LOVE how the escort cards turned out! I ordered custom cut 2.5"x5" metallic sand cardstock from cardsandpockets.com (to match invite pockets) and designed the layout in Photoshop. I then ran each through my home printer with everyone's name, table, and meal selection on their respective card. I then folded them in half and applied lace that I purchased from laceheaven.com with hot glue to the bottom of the card to mimic my invitations. I found images of a pig, fish, and leaf through an online Google search and used these to designate the guests' meal selections. I added the appropriate image(s) to each guests escort card.

I decided to put the cards alphabetically on the escort card table so I printed out 'letter' cards. I had left over bows and ribbon from the invitations, so on these I decided to use it! I ran the letters through my home printer and folded the cards. I then applied ribbon to the bottom of the card, followed by a feather and topped off with a small bow! I really love how these both turned out!

Candy Buffet Labels

Along with creating the stickers via Vistaprint for the candy bags, I created and printed labels for the different candies (that are all cream or green) that I will use in the candy buffet. They turned out very cute and I think they will look lovely hanging on the jars!

Donation Cards/Menu Cards

In lieu of traditional favors, we decided to make a donation to a local charity (although we will have a candy buffet, cookie table, and photo booth for the gusts as pseudo favors). So I designed and had printed the card that will inform the guests of this on ivory cardstock. I also designed and had printed the menu cards - both of which will go in vintage sheet music pockets that I purchased from Etsy seller paperhill. We tied gold bows on the music pockets and will 'stuff' them with both the menu card and donation card.
